Markets
Meridian expands one competitive set at a time. A market enters coverage when every property genuinely competing inside it has been researched under the same framework, scored on the same dimensions and held to the same standard of evidence — half a market produces comparisons that are artefacts of uneven research.

Why markets, and not properties
A property score is only meaningful against the properties a traveller is genuinely choosing between. A privacy score means nothing on its own; it means a great deal once you can see it beside every resort competing for the same booking, scored the same way from the same kind of evidence. Meridian therefore publishes complete competitive sets, and every comparison, route and tradeoff on this site is scoped to the set it was drawn from.
